Assignment Checklist!

What do I need? Use this checklist!

Do I have..

  • A recipe title
  • A recipe description (1-2 sentences)
  • A serving amount (how many people will this feed?)
  • Ingredients list with measurements (5 minimum)
  • Steps (4 minimum, at least 1 complete sentence each)
  • An image of your completed dish (on your Works Cited page is fine)
  • A complete Works Cited page in MLA format for your sources

And don't forget to put the names of everyone in your group on your card!

What is Our Assignment?

Your assignment is to create a recipe card detailing how to make a Spanish dish. The catch? The entire card has to be written in Spanish. (Metric system optional!)

Your card must contain:

  • A recipe title
  • The names of everyone in your group
  • How many servings your recipe makes
  • A brief, one or two sentence description of the recipe (what it is, when best to serve it, any cultural facts, etc.)
  • At least five (5) different ingredients with proper measurements
  • At least four (4) steps (with complete sentences)
  • An image of your dish

You must also submit a Works Cited page for your recipe and any images you use.

Here is a sample recipe card below. It's in English, but you get the idea!
